Is There a Telegram Ads Library? How to See Who Advertises in Telegram

Facebook and Google publish libraries where anyone can look up an advertiser's ads. People ask the same about Telegram: is there a "Telegram Ads Library", and how do I see what a competitor is running? This guide gives the short answer, then what the Telegram app does show you, and how to research advertisers with an independent archive.

The short answer#

We found no public ad library from Telegram. The Telegram Ad Platform is a login-only account for advertisers, and neither its pages nor Telegram's API documentation on sponsored messages describe a public list of ads (checked 30 September 2026). We cannot prove a negative, so treat this as "we did not find one".

What the Telegram app shows you#

• Where you meet ads. Sponsored messages appear in public channels and in other places where Telegram sells ads. According to the API documentation, they appear below all other posts in a channel, above the chat in bots, in global search results and during full-screen channel video.
• Sponsor info. If the advertiser filled in the sponsor fields, the client must offer a "Sponsor info" item in the message menu that shows them (API documentation). It tells you who is behind the ad only as far as the advertiser chose to say.
• Report. A sponsored message can be reported to Telegram's moderators from the app; the API exposes it as messages.reportSponsoredMessage.
• Premium hides ads. Telegram Premium subscribers do not see sponsored messages by default; a switch under Settings → Telegram Business shows them again, for example to check your own ads (Telegram blog, April 2024).

None of this lets you search for an advertiser or see all ads in a niche. That needs an archive.

What an independent archive gives you#

Our archive records sponsored messages that our crawler sees in public channels, from both the Gram and the euro cabinets. For each creative it keeps the text, the advertiser, the destination, the niche, when it was first and last seen and where it ran. You can:

1. Search by keyword or brand in the ads archive — for example a product name or a competitor's username.
2. Look up an advertiser in the advertisers catalog: how many creatives it ran, over which period.
3. See what ran in a channel from its page in the channels catalog, where the archive has data for it — useful before you buy a placement there.
4. Follow a niche — see the crypto or retail page — and read what other advertisers promise.
5. Get notified when a keyword or a channel shows new ads: see how to monitor competitors' Telegram ads.

Everything is also available through the public API for your own analysis.

What no archive can see#

• Budgets and results. The archive knows what appeared, not what it cost or what it earned. Prices are in our cost guide, not in creatives.
• Complete coverage. It holds what the crawler reached; a missing ad is not proof that it did not run.
• Targeting. You see where an ad appeared, not how the advertiser configured it.
• Private channels. Only public channels are visible.
• Who is behind an account. A name that looks like a brand is not proof of ownership; see how to check a channel before buying an ad.

FAQ#

Is there an official Telegram Ads Library? We found none: the ads platform is login-only and Telegram's documentation describes no public list of ads.

How can I see who is behind a sponsored message? Open the message menu: if the advertiser provided sponsor details, Telegram shows a "Sponsor info" item. Otherwise use an archive to see the advertiser's other creatives.

Why don't I see ads in my Telegram? Premium subscribers do not see sponsored messages by default. You can turn them on under Settings → Telegram Business.

Can I see how much a competitor spends? No. Neither Telegram nor an outside archive publishes budgets.

Is the archive complete? No. It contains what its crawler saw in public channels.
